Fexofenadine is used for the relief of allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy, watery, red eyes and itchy nose and throat. It is also be used to treat hives.

•tIf you’re allergic to the active substances or any other component of this medicine.

Warnings and precautions

•tIf you have phenylketonuria.

•tIf you have kidney problems.

•tAre 65 years of age or older.

This medicine may cause sleepiness or dizziness. Do not drive or operate machinery till you know how you are affected.

Stop using this product and seek immediate medical help if you develop rash; hives; blisters; itching; wheezing; tightness in the chest or throat; trouble breathing, swallowing, or talking; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.

•tTell your doctor about all the medicines you are taking.

•tAntacids that contain aluminum or magnesium hydroxide may alter the effectiveness of Fexofenadine. Separate by 2 hours.

•tTake as indicated by your doctor.

•tDo not take with fruit juice.

•tThe usual recommended dose is one 60 mg tablet every 12 hours or one 120 mg tablet once daily.

•tStore at room temperature 68 to 77°F (20 to 25°C).

•tKeep this medicine out of reach of children.

•tDo not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the package. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
