Product Description:

• Rybelsus is indicated for the treatment of adults (18 years or older) with type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve blood glucose control as an adjunct to diet and exercise
• RYBELSUS® is an oral pill that works similar to a natural hormone called GLP-1, which is released from the body after eating.
• It helps your body reduce your blood sugar level when it is too high and helps you reduce weight.
• Rybelsus is available in three doses.
• 3 mg - 30 tablets - Green pack.
• 7 mg - 30 tablets - Red pack.
• 14 mg - 30 tablets - Blue pack.

How to use:

• Rybelsus is a tablet for once daily use
• This medicinal product should be taken on an empty stomach at any time of the day. (Ideally upon walking up directly in the morning)
• It should be swallowed whole with a sip of water (up to half a glass of water). Tablets should not be split, crushed, or chewed, as it is not known whether this impacts the absorption of Rybelsus.
• Patients should wait at least 30 minutes before eating or drinking or taking other oral medicinal products. 
• If a dose is missed, the missed dose should be skipped and the next dose should be taken the following day.

Caution & Warnings:

• It is not indicated for use with Type-1 diabetes
• Rybelsus should not be used during pregnancy.
• If a patient wishes to become pregnant, or pregnancy occurs, Rybelsus should be discontinued. Rybelsus should be discontinued at least 2 months before a planned pregnancy due to the long half-life.
• Rybelsus should not be used during breast-feeding
• Please inform your doctor if you ahave a history of pancreatitis
